On #Thursday13 find out what is In the Context of Love from #MFRWauthor Linda K. Sienkiewicz

Linda K. Sienkiewicz grew up south of Cleveland, Ohio, happy to sit cross-legged on the front step, folding and stapling paper into miniature books she filled with illustrated happily-ever-after stories. A scholarship art student, she worked in graphics before starting a family. Years later, she returned to her other love, writing. Her poetry, fiction, art and essays have appeared in more than fifty literary journals. She has a poetry chapbook award and a Pushcart Prize nomination, and an MFA in fiction. She lives in Michigan and works as a volunteer for a nonprofit human services organization.

13 Ways You Know You’re a Child of the Seventies:

You know far-out had nothing to do with distance.
You could macrame your own swimsuit.
You painted lower eyelashes a la Twiggy
You were mesmerized watching a lava lamp.
You burned your bra.
You know what TV show “You bet your sweet bippy” came from.
You danced on a lighted dance floor under a disco ball.
You remember when a Tab was a soft drink.
You remember when “rubbers” were sold behind the pharmacy counter.
You tripped on your bell bottoms.
You were traumatized by a black light poster of sexual positions.
You know getting down meant you were in the groove.
You thought push-button phones were super fast.
